DETAILS: 40+ Performers will tell the story of the Hawai'ian people, their history, beliefs and legends. Listen to the sound of the ancient ones and watch the stories of old come to life with dance of our ancestors, known as kahiko. Amazing tales of Pele will captivate you as chants and dance combine to weave the famous story of the legendary Fire Goddess and her sister Hi'iaka. Mele (song) honoring our adored kings and queens will be demonstrated. Live music and the beautiful voice of Zack Kapule will enchant the audience. Bright, fresh flower leis and colorful costumes will be showcased. Join us for a memorable concert. Come early and eat 'local style' Hawai'ian food, learn how to make a fresh island lei and browse through the many Hawai'ian arts and craft booths on hand.
